Safe launch and recovery of AUVs, UUVs, tidal turbines and other ocean technologies is a high priority for marine operators and navies. DSA has the software tools and analysis expertise to accurately simulate and assess launch and recovery operations. ONR/MTS Buoy Technology Workshop in Victoria, BC

DSA will be at the ONR/MTS Buoy Technology Workshop. At the buoy technology workshop DSA will be showing its ProteusDS LE software. ProteusDS LE has been designed specifically for oceanographic mooring analysis and buoy engineering applications. DSA will be presenting and will be giving demonstrations of ProteusDS at our booth throughout the event.

This will be the first buoy technology meeting in Canada. In addition to the Speaker Program, the 2-1/2 day workshop will include one afternoon of site excursions to the Institute of Ocean Sciences (IOS) buoy operations group and Axys Technologies, Inc., which has executed the Canadian weather buoy systems in close cooperation with the U.S. National Data Buoy Center.

Going to Oceanology in 2012? DSA will be exhibiting at Oceanology International 2012 from March 13-15, 2012 at the Excel Centre in London. Stop by the Atlantic Canadian pavilion and get a live demo of ProteusDS. DSA will also be attending the 2012 Buoy Workshop in Victoria, BC from March 5-8, 2012. At the 2012 Buoy Workshop we will be showing why ProteusDS is an ideal tool for analysis of single leg mooring systems for oceanographic applications. See you there!

DSA to attend Aquaculture Canada 2011 in Quebec City

DSA at Scotian Pride 2011

DSA will be presenting at the Aquaculture Association of Nova Scotia’s (AANS) annual conference in Halifax, NS. For more information on the conference see the AANS website (http://www.aansonline.ca/). The conference is being held on January 26-28, 2011 at the Halifax Marriot Harbourfront. The presentation is entitled, Measurement, Simulation and Analysis of a High-Energy Fish Farm… in a Hurricane . DSA will discuss the use and development of its submersible tension logger (STL) technology, and an update on the ProteusDS software. DSA is presenting at 1:30pm on Friday, January 28th.
